To wash or not to wash.

By that moment I became conscious, I wash my face more than twice a day. Little exaggerated. But through observation, I notice that I'm still getting irritation and acne breakouts.

Compare to not washing, although oily but no acne. So why the hell is that?

Answer is, whatever type of skin you have, normal, oily, dry or with acne.. You still need to limit washing your face. Although some skin requires special care or treatment. Basic is to always cleanse your face every morning and every night. If you feel uncomfortable with it, use baby wipes or moisturizing mist that you can buy in any drugstore to freshen you up or I prefer branded products. It may cost a bit BUT remember it's for your face. :) Better be safe than sorry.

It is so much important to wash your face with care. You must determine your skin type from the categories I mentioned above, check your skin type with a dermatologist, some of them offers free consultation so you can create a cleansing routine with their FREE advice. Observe how your skin reacts to any solution you apply.

Be sure to use a soft washcloth or sponge when washing the face, as scrubbing hard will irritate and cause inflammation. Treat yourself a facial mask that you can DIY, instead of spending too much. Just be sure that you have the right cleanser. Purchase a moisturizer (for dry skin), acne cream or hydrocortizone (for normal). Toner should be fine for oily type just to remove excess oil and buildup.
