Oatmeal DIY: Natural Homemade Face Cleanser, Scrub and Mask

Do you know that Oatmeal works on any form of dermatitis or eczema?

Oatmeal's skin benefits comes from the oats which is called avenanthramides. It help soothe and relieve various types of skin irritation and inflammation. So it is perfect for a sensitive skin. It is messy to use but very effective.

When I'm  having breakouts I use this Natural Homemade Face Cleanser from Oatmeal because I have a very sensitive skin, and I can easily get acne from dust or any pollution.

Not just that, because when I want to feel extra special and give myself a beauty treat, this is one of the things that I love to do.

To get started:

1. Simply take 1/2 spoonfuls of Oatmeal and add enough water to create a paste-like texture. (Make sure to apply everything! I don't waste any.)

2. I use hot water to open up pores, and simply massage the regimen. It is optional if you'd like to take it to the next level, you can add honey syrup which contains a variety of antioxidants and lots of vitamins. 
3. I prefer that you use your own fingertips when applying the oatmeal to your face in circular motion or upward stroke.
4. If your face is not irritated and just want to give your self a nice scrub then add 1 tbsp of brown sugar. It also does wonder to your skin because it is a natural exfoliator, it does not clog pores and it helps to eliminate your blemishes and so much more.
5. Then rinse off using a soft wash cloth and dry it up using your clean and cold sponge to close your pores. It must now be refreshing.

For a moisturizing Oatmeal Mask:

6. Mix the Oatmeal with 1 tbsp baking soda or olive oil. Or use them both if you like. Baking soda can soothe itchy skin, and olive oil reduce the wrinkles caused by dry skin, it'll simply add moisture on your face. (Use just enough olive oil to make the oatmeal damp, not soaked.)
7. Then add a pinch of lemon juice on your oatmeal mask. 

Lemon juice act as an astringent that will help remove excess oil from your skin, which will be helpful if you have blackheads or blemishes. 

8. Let the mask dry completely before you remove it. It normally takes 5-10 minutes then rinse it off with cool water. Dab dry with a soft clean sponge.

So this one is guaranteed and tested. I do it every weekends or when I feel alone. 

Try it on, relax and treat yourself. It'll make you feel better. 

Continuous usage will certainly provide clear and soft skin.
