Hi there friends! I'm so excited to introduce this lovely little bottle full of goodies.

I just heard it from one of my trusted friend and she started using it for a week that helped her with a skin allergy that I witnessed (and yes, it doesn't look good)

So, what made me decide to purchase my first bottle (altho I don't have enough budget for now), is...

First, it is organic. I asked for the ingredients right away, and she gave me the list and these are:

Third, is the price. It is not that expensive for a serum. For this trial pack of 10ml, 3 to 5 drops per application on your face, I can use it for a month (estimate). Which is 370php only, as of this moment.

Powerhouse serum - OH WELL handmade organics:

"lightens acne marks, helps prevent & dry acne, hydrates & soften skin, reduces sebum production, glass skin primer that will love your skin." So thats what it says on the 10ml bottle that I purchased for 370php.

What I also liked about it, which is basically my Fourth on the list, is that, it is handmade. I love the fact that the owner is hands-on with the product and if thats so, who wouldn't be glad that it is made with love and prayers.


Fifth, the scent. I didn't thought that I'd fall inlove with the scent. Makes me feel the automn memories, for some reason. It is the leafy vibes that makes me think and feel the autumnal nostalgia. It is deep and calming, and truly relaxing that will make you feel good.

So far, these are my initial review and will definitely update you guys if I'll continue using it or not after a week or month.

REVITAGLOW SKINCARE SET - LAST GOODBYE

Actually, this is the 2nd month and a week after I started using Revitaglow. I have a new set of Soap and Revitalizing Toner unopened. I ordered them last month with the Glass Skin set thinking that I'd get used to it cause it was anyhow effective and has cleared up my pores. Acid and Serum effect has done great and it visibly lighten and prevented blackheads and whiteheads.

But why did I stop? If only not that I have been diagnosed by PCOS, I would not get any follow-up check with my OBGyne. Then we had a small talk regarding my lifestyle and do I have any plans of giving birth the 2nd time. 

OBGyne mentioned that this small acnes that I may be getting could actually be because of the hormonal imbalance due to the Polycystic Feature and can be fixed by a 3-month medication. She immediately advised me to stop using such skincare and it might also affect the baby, could be deformities or any health deficiency.

I immediately asked Revitaglow if their product is OK for pregnant, lactating mom. And their advise is to always refer to my doctor and for safett, is to stop using it for the mean time.

Which is, honestly, for me sounds like it is not something that I would wanna use for a long time and does that mean I'll have to stop for 9 months? 

So I decided to stop for a week, to see the effect of the product. And just right after 2 days, it noticeably returned to my old skin texture. (Could be just for me tho)

I thought that it'll give me a lasting result but it turned out that my skin became dependent on it and may only be an illusion that it has perfected my skin after all.

It wasn't perfect actually cause btw, I'm still getting acnes on my chin area, BUT it was a glass-like skin texture, as promised.

So, this is my 2nd week officially noy using it, and not going back.

For my routine, I'm back using oatmeal mask before going to bed and Dove soap in the morning and nightime or whenever I am oily. This is what I'm using to get the correct PH and to moisturise my skin. Cause I'm back getting combination skin now, flaky on the side of the nose while oily on the T-Zone area. 

Looking for a new organic skincare that is OK to use even if I get pregnant, cause I also plan to breastfeed my next kid for a looooong time. My son stopped when he was 6 months and it was one of my mistake to ever get tired of saving some for him cause I started working at that time, and he could've been more healthy, better immuse system if I continuously breastfeed him. So that's it.

GLASS SKIN by: REVITA GLOW

I finally decided to get some reservation with this product. At first, it simply caught my eye cause of its packaging, but looking at how the revitalizing set was able to really improve the texture and all, it made me super hopeful that my skin could get better in time.

Look at this beautiful skincare packaging. Isn't it pretty??? Simple and light, just like how its supposed to work. So let's see on my future review about this.

August 12 2019 - I received the product yesterday and I used it right away.

The package contains:

1 exfoliating toner (60ml) - luminous microfine
1 glass vitamin c serum (20ml) - brightening / replenish
1 hyalunoric cream (10g) - hydrating

For the amount of 500php



The size came just as expected. Although I though that It'll arrive in a cute packaging, just like what they posted on their IG account (with a shiny unicorn theme-like pouch) but it was packed together with the revitalizing set that I bought just in case I finished the ones that I am using right now.

Anyhow, the package is tight and secured on a bubble wrap, so thumbs up for that. The bottle and design they used is so cute and simple, which I like. Over-all, regarding how it looked is 5/5

Now, let's go to the product review and the miraculous promise of giving us a glass skin.

On the revitalizing, I am using a toner that has the same ingredients what what differs? I think it is the Hyaluronic Acid, but I'mma review further. As per research Hyaluronic Acid helps with the appearance of tightness in the skin. As it fills the skin with moisture, hyaluronic acid tightens the overall complexion. It helps firm facial contours for a more youthful appearance. It is also exfoliating, so I am exfoliating twice now, and per my experience, I have not encountered massive peeling but just slightly "micro" ultra mega peeling. XD So I guess, I am expecting for a more noticeable peeling. Again, I will give you an update of how does my skin will look like.

FYI, I will also put this on the revitalizing thread - before putting the Glass Skin products, I experienced breaking out, especially on the forehead. Not sure if it is because of the menstruation, which doesn't really matter cause before any of this skin care routine, I don't have any pimple marks whenever on my period. So that's it. ^_^

Going back! There's no irritation or even slight discomfort. I slept after using it, since that was my routine and I work at night, so waking up makes me see how my skin absorbed the product, it is sooo soft to touch. So far, that would be it. I'll probably update with a photo, next time. See yah! <3

DAY 24

DAY 27

This is it, I am now seeing HUGEEE changes. Honestly, this is the best skin I've had so far and FYI, I am no longer using any powder as well as foundation/BB cream on my daily routine.

I remember only using the tinted sunscreen by Belo this Saturday cause I want an instant glow-up but with an additional sunscreen cause we went out the whole day just to travel back home to Manila so, I only used it that day but skin is amazingly clear, not yet 100% clear as you can see there are some spots and have not seen any difference on the acne marks or so.

BTW, I am really happy with what I've achieved right now and contented but still hoping that there's still more that this product can do right? 

I've gone past the stage that it hurts me and looking irritated and all, but for sure I will continue using it, cause it has done wonders. Especially my main issue like the whiteheads on my chin, blackheads on my nose.

And one more thing! I remember that my blackheads used to be very deep that scrubbing it won't do nothing unless you prick and pull it out, however, now that I've been using it, there were some that is still there, and unconsciously I scrape them off and poof! Easily pulled. Like from the roots.

Another is that, whenever I touch my face, it is so soft and you know that there's nothing on the inside, no bumps, none so far. Will definitely continue on updating you guys, hope to see more of this. 😄🤟

DAY 28

After shower ^^. Have not put any cream or toner yet. I am thinking of using the bentonite clay, so before doing so, I took a quick photo for skin update.

As you can seeeeee~ it is glowing, and super soft to touch, no bumps or whatsoever, soap does not hurt anymore, pores...not sure if they've gone smaller, but I don't think so. No more whiteheads on my chin, black heads on my nose is less visible now. I'm super happy that I just bought another set, and an additional ia the Glass Skin that I'll be writing a review on a different post.

LUXXE ORGANIX BENTONITE CLAY - INDIAN HEALING CLAY FACIAL MASK REVIEW

As a mom, if you're a hands-on type and you do a lot of chores as well as working at night, it is not easy to find time for yourself especially if you wanna hangout with friends, treat yourself to relax on a spa massage, mani and pedi or workout on a gym. Not so easy.

Introducing, Luxxe Organix, BENTONITE CLAY - INDIAN HEALING CLAY Premium, Deep Pore Cleansing Mask

I bought this in Watsons for 399php and for the product application, this is 1 = 1 measurement

As you all know, I am a huge fan of Bentonite Clay for its overall and skin benefit, amazing components and needless to say, that it is organic, all natural Calcium Clay that is good for the skin.

I've used this product for the 3rd time now and I wanted to upload a video how I applied it but for some reason the file was too big, so I'll just upload photos of me using the

LUXXE ORGANIX BENTONITE CLAY - INDIAN HEALING

I used it today Aug 7, around 1:05PM not so long ago. With the usual process of cleaning my face using the Revitaglow bar, dried it and then applied the product. That is 1tbsp clay + 1.5 tbsp water. NO ACV cause I thought that it might cause more damage since I am under a Revita Skincare and I don't wanna ruin that.

After 20mins skin feels super tight. EXTRA tight. 

I think that leaving it on for more than 20 mins is unacceptable cause it is already uncomfortable, not painful but just tight as if there's a super glue on your face.

So what I did, I just cleanse it with water.

And here's how it look right after washing:

(Please excuse the color, it is because of the lighting outside, and the weather is crazy.

Anyway, it looks red but that is normal. As per the instructions on the back of the packaging, it indicates that redness will occur after 30mins.

So let's see shall I include video once fixed?

WEEK 2 & 3 OF REVITA GLOW - REVITALIZING SET

Week 2 of REVITA GLOW - REVITALIZING SET SKIN CARE ROUTINE

DAY 8

This is to show how it looked like before starting my shift. I just washed my face and put toner + night cream. I just notice that every time after washing, I'm still getting pink tinge on the side.

But after a few minutes, it goes back to it's normal.

The soap no longer hurt that much, it can stay for maybe 6 seconds now. LOOL

The skin texture is pretty smoother now and the tiny acne are less visible, though there are couple of them popping up from time to time but will be gone the following day.

Also! Toner application hurt sometimes, even after putting the cream. And!! For some reason, I get very sweaty after, whyyyy????

DAY 9

Day 9 - Morning the following day and weekdays are over!!

Time flies so fast, I got a rough feeling since I can see them micro peeling, but only up close.

Tried to zoom them in but it is not showing.. sorry..

DAY 10

Look at my Day 10 here, wow right? Better than my Day 5.

Can't help but compare them when I was starting, but doesn't look like my clear skin before. But honestly, this is way better than doing a regular facial treatment. Seriously.

1st. I'm no longer seeing whiteheads on my chin, black heads are lessen and the pores got visible smaller.

2nd. Skin starts to feel as if there is no pores. Different from what you see but it feels lighter and super clean on the inside.

DAY 12

This is my after cleansing and product application look, on the photo it looks like just the same as how it looked last week. Also! I just got out to buy something to cook later today, and I'm happy now that I have not put anything but the sunscreen. (it was just a dream before) cause for some reason, sunblock/sunscreen triggers acne to show up, which I don't know why. I tried couple of product before and it is doing the same thing.

On this photo, you'll see that the marks from acne in the past has not been healed as of yet, still getting some peeling on the sides and chin area and it feels dry as well.

DAY 14

Hello there! Today I am getting much more excited to see how is it gonna be in the next few days, cause honestly a lot has improved.

1. I can prolong the use of the soap that I am using on my face, before it hurts that I can only use it for a not more than 5 seconds. But now, I can make sure that it is cleansed and is no longer giving me itchy feeling after. And while washing, I can feel that the skin is smooth and clear on the inside too. <3 I loove the feeling!!!

2. After toner, doesn't have any redness anymore!! and the heat.. I can't feel it also. It's just...normal. And I am loving it!! It is just my day 14 and a lot has improved, what more could it be on my 20th!

3rd and the most fun part is that, I can start seeing that on some parts where there's no issue, it is glossy, but not oily. Like the real glass skin that I've been dreaming of! Eeeeeehhhhh!!! <3 Can't wait and I'm soooo excited.. Cheers!!! <3

DAY 15

Day 15 - July 25 Thursday. I thought I am all good with the toner, but for some reason, I am still feeling those tiny pricking sensation and redness, yes they'd still occur. I also felt like I am near getting used to the product, but in the actual fact, I am not.

In this photo, it may not look like there were red bumps, but if you'll look away, it is as if I have scabies. I doesn't look good at all.

I am also using Lucas Papaw every night time (when I go to bed) to lessen the redness

DAY 17

Day 17 - July 27 Saturday. We were not home this weekends, and outside, it looks much worse. On this photo, it seemed much clear that I have red spot, as if it is not even, and has bumps on both cheeks. I got feedback from my husband and his family, that it seemed like an allergy from the product that I am using. Tonight I didn't used any other product, but only stick to the usual and correct process.

Day 20

Day 20 - July 30 Tuesday, continued with the product. But I slept with vitamin E on my face. The bumps looked a little less than it was ^ as well as touching them. But it is still there, and getting my hopes up that this ain't some allergic reaction.

I bought Bentonite clay from Luxxe and I will ask RevitaGlow if that is OK to use while using this skin care product.

WEEK 1 OF REVITA GLOW - REVITALIZING SET

DAY 3

Today is my 3rd to 4th day of using Revitaglow Revitalizing Set.

The feeling of pain and discomfort increased to 2.5 out of 10. And I've seen some changes on the texture of the skin. First, the tiny zits lessen and the dryness is much more visible, hence my skin looked dull, glazed as if the skin wants to peel, also the night cream that I apply helps reduce soreness. Once I apply the toner, my skin turns red, and I'm feeling a bit itchy on the cheeks, skin is throbbing hot with pricking sensation. It is tolerable, but I'm hoping that it'll feel better on the future application.

Second, the skin feels a little tight and the bumps are no longer painful to touch. Some parts were flaking off, but it is micropeeling, does not look that much obvious unless you look upclose. Especially when you put the cream, it conceals the flaking.

DAY 6

Good morning! Today is my Day 6 using Revitaglow Revitalizing Set!!

As of this day, I have seen less small pimples, still micro peeling, but the redness has level up as well as the roughness of the skin. Still looked irritated, as if it is an allergy that occurred. 

On a broad daylight and pictures it looks so bad, but to me, looks okay cause I get less tiny acne than the first 2 days that I applied it. 

Also, I can remember that on my 4th day, when I applied toner, it is super hot, the burning sensation is intense from the soap to toner until the day / night cream. I'd rate the pain level 4 out of 10. But when I put a toner earlier, it wasn't that bad at all. Not as painful as yesterday. 

I also message the IG account where I bought it, cause I can't help it, I'm curious about what they will answer. And here's what they gave me:

"Yes mam its normal po its ok na lumabas para matreat po ng revitaglow, if hindi lumabas magiging inverted acne mam"

DAY 7

Today is my 7th day and it have not gotten any better, still getting red skin looking like super irritated. I'm kinda disappointed cause I don't notice huge changes at all. I thought it'll work fast on my face cause I didn't have much problem but I guess I'll continue giving it 1 more week to see some more changes.

The soap is really irritating, it only stays for 3 to 5 seconds. When I put toner, it's like the little injection / tiny lazer that is getting in your skin, deep and it burns. 

Cream sometimes lessen the pain but sometimes not.

DAY 7 & 8

This is my 7th day photo, as you can see it is no longer red and a little improvement on the sides, if you touch them, you can still feel the bumps and the toner didn't felt anything when applied.

Redness still occur after toner application but immediately goes away after the cream.

Still I'm glad that I have finally gone through the hard process and now I'm just waiting to see the progress and if it will actually help me fix the actual issues on my face.

Now this is my 8th day and oh my .. a lot has improved, cause I'm still trying to compare this to the 5th day where everything was a wreck! But this skin feels amazing and better, I think I gained my confidence back and I can show my self to people just like how I used to.

Tho this is not like my usual skin yet, it has just improved a lot better than the past few days, but I'm just saying. lool

My All-Time Favorite Affordable Mask: Bentonite Clay + ACV + Kaolin Clay Mask

Good day beautiful!

Today, I just wanna share one of the most effective, all-natural beauty skincare mask that I just discovered, not so long ago.

It is pretty much what I've been using to clear up my troubled skin. Like clearing the acne marks / zits, blackheads, whiteheads.

But since you know, as of this moment I am using a skincare product so I stopped using this for a while, but once my skin recovered, I will definitely go back to using this mask as an additional daytime regimen.

So here it is, I bought this one from Shopee and I've seen a lot of seller, but this one is cheap and organic. They are also selling kaolin clay and apple-cider vinegar, but since we have ACV all the time, then I just bought the 2 together with the Charcoal. Each of them were ranging 50php to 60php per 200grams.
(Not bad eh?)

Kaolin Clay: 50php + Charcoal: 60 + Bentonite Clay: 90 (400 grams)

Total of 200PHP only

Imagine how much you'll be able to save compared to buying ones that were mixed, but the truth is, it has the same effect, but the price has a huge difference.

I was able to divide it to 3. One for me, one for my sister and the other is for my best friend.
I kept watching this routine and how it is being done before purchasing and read a lot of comments, reviews from different vloggers and it works like a miracle. FYI, it doesn't hurt, doesn't sting, nothing. But it works.

How I use it?

My favorite is Bentonite Clay, for the first week I followed how it was being used by others, like in a straight 7 days, I applied:

1 tsp of ACV
1 tsp of Bentonite Clay
1 tsp of Kaolin Clay
1 tsp of Charcoal Clay
and 2 tsp of water (add some more if needed) until you reach the paste-like texture

Mix them all together and voila!

**This one is very important, use a wooden / plastic spoon to mix them, cause metals won't work since they'll react on the clay since it'll lose its negative charge. But I found some articles that metal has no effect on this and etc. But c'mon, there's nothing to lose if we'll simply follow, right?

I used it for straight 7 days, and unlike others, I didn't had any reactions like redness with ACV, maybe because I didn't used pure ACV. So, there's no itch, no sting and the smell... it's okay, not that bad.

So there, I applied the mask for only 20 minutes, and washed it with my favorite mild soap, Dove. And I put-on my favorite moisturizer or sunscreen.

After a week, I find the result AMAZING.

Like no other. My acne marks are gone, soft and plumpy skin, clear and no pimples. I like touching my face cause I can't help it. And honestly, after a week, I am still using it, but sometimes just the bentonite clay with water alone or together with kaolin clay, no ACV and no Charcoal.

I mix 2 tsp of Bentonite + 1 tsp of Kaolin + water to make it a paste-like mud mask. And apply it for 20mins and wash with just water. No soap. Then proceed with the moisturizer / sunscreen

It is really refreshing, really cleanses deep down and it has improved my skin tone.

Easy to make, not that expensive and it felt like you've just got out of a beauty clinic without spending too much, with the comfort on your own house.

I truly suggest that if your skin will react to ACV, just try the bentonite and kaolin cause they still do wonders.

MY REVITA GLOW - REVITALIZING SET SKIN CARE PURCHASE

Today is my 2nd day of using Revitaglow Revitalizing Set Skincare and I decided to post something about it while I'm still on it. Like a diary perhaps, so it could help me remember what I've been through in order to attain the skin that I wanted to have.

But when I was starting, I have an OK skin. I just wanted to know if it is possible to have a clear glass skin though we are not in a country with a cold weather, but through the help of a skincare.

I have black and whiteheads, I get zits from time to time, but not huge and many, it pops one or a couple and will be followed by another in a long long time. I have some obvious scars, large pores and I get a reaction from plainly using sunscreen, cause I guess its too oily for me.

What made me decide to use it specifically, is because my sister-in-law has been using it for 5 years now and her skin is amazing. Though I know that we're all different, but because I also researched and asked many times about what could happen. Cause you know, if there's NO PAIN, there's NO GAIN.

Let me tell you what I really wanted to achieve:

1. I wanted to have a clear glass skin, is it possible to achieve that without facial treatment from dermatologist or any skin expert?

2. I wanna stop using BB cream, foundation. I just hate the part that I'll be using these to hide the blemishes, acne whenever I have one. You know, just the normal, real face you got.

3. I wanted to try using sunscreen on a daily basis, but it kept giving me tiny pimples and sometimes dries my skin. I dunno if it is the reason, but here's what I am sure of, those sunscreen is the cause of too much oil on my T-Zone. Like I have a combination skin, but my T-Zone gets worse whenever I use them sunscreen. :(

4. I wanna minimize my pores and lessen the roughness or dryness on some parts

5. I don't wanna have blackheads on my nose and whiteheads on my chin. Which causes me to prick.

Pricking freaking hurts, you know? But whenever I smile and the skin stretches, ugh! It shows.

6. I don't wanna go to any facial treatment, cause it hurts on your face and pocket / wallet too

This is all that I can think of right now, but enough to make me try this skincare.

I wanted to tell you more about purging, detox and breakout on this part, so that we could differentiate them and not be confused about it, or get scared about it .... but I'll just probably create a separate thread about that.

Here's my first and 2nd day photos and the ones in between them, cause I'm still not lazy to take pictures, hopefully I will be motivated and will be strong to continue with this adventure that I've never once done before.

This is the first photo that I decided to take on my lunch time, before I do some exercise. Obviously no filter. Looks like I have allergy but I know that I am just purging. No itch and doesn't sting.

I went outside so that I'd have a better lighting. Still no other effect like itch or pain, uncomfortable feeling.

This one is from earlier today, on my lunch break. I thought that my skin is at ease. But I am feeling a little tightness on my cheeks

Honestly, while washing my face, I am feeling sad already cause I was not used to touching my face and feeling it this rough.

I washed it very lightly cause I can now feel the sting from the soap, especially with the toner.

I just rubbed it so gentle and put the cream ASAP to lessen the feeling of "little" burning sensation, and I said to myself that I felt like I wanna stop using it, but I immediately went back up.

So, this adventure continues, and hopefully....

I can do it.
